13th REGIMENT AT RANGIORA, ' _____ A voluntary concentration camp of ;flie oCompany, 13th (North Canterbury and "Westlnnd) Regiment is being held at the Rongiora Show Grounds. There &re 146 of all ranks in camp, drawn . Jrom all parts of North ~ Canterbury.' ! Lieutenant G. S. Lambie, adjutant, is In command, and other officers with him are Lieutenants C.'E. Bell (comEiny commander), H. Batchelor, L. H. avison, E. B. Skevington and T. fcbankiand. Chaplain IT. P. Fcnclaßis jlso in camp, and the noncommissioned officers in attendance are Scrgeantsfltojor Sbuttlcworth, Stewart, Phillips *nd Burns and Q.M.S. Solomon. Saturday was devoted to pitching eamp, and a lecture was given by Captain Atwell, group commander, on "Military Law and Discipline."

Yesterday morning the men attended diviuo servico in the various churches in the town, tho regimental band from Kaiapoi leading the march to and from church. During the afternoon the camp was open to visitors, and the band played selections. j The syllabus of training includes elementary drill and musketry instruction, rang© practice and elementary field exercises. The camp will break up next Saturday. The drill will be carried out on the camp grounda, and the field work on the Rangiora racecourse. In .the evenings of tho first, throe days there will bo lectures, and on Thursday and Friday night drill, a night march, advance and attack. . , To-morrow evening Major T. R. Cresswell has'promised to give a war lecture on operations in the Persian Gulf. . The health of the camp is in chargo of Captain T. A. Will, N.Z.M.C. Excellent mess arrangements have been made, and the Church of England Men's Society has an institution on tho ground.
