SUBMARINE WARFARE. BERLIN CLAIMS SINKING OF ' TRANSPORT. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. NEW YORK, September 22. Berlin reports that a German submarine sank a transport filled with troops in the Mediterranean on September 17. NEUTRAL SHIPS SUNK. NORWAY'S LOSSES. (Received Soptember 24. 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, September- 23. Between September 8 and 11 German submarines sank eight Norwegian ships of an aggregate of 19.733 tons.
