VEGETABLES AND FRUIT. Vegetables have boen in better supply this week, and prices aro a little easier at auction. Fruit continues unequal to tha demand, and prices for imported lines rulo high. A shipment of Valencias from San Francisco sold at up to *Ms a case. The first ktimeras from Auckland this year were oagerly-snapped up. The usual Sydney shipment of pines, passions and mandarins is oxpectcd next week, and also a small consignment of Auckland lemons and kumeras. Melbourne lemons, apples and onions reached

At- Tettcrfa'.l's Baeaar, Rangiora, yesterday, twenty-nine good draught horses were offered at tho monthly fair, and sixteen changed hands at satisfactory prices. There was o. strong demand for farm horses of a useful stamp.
