MEETINGS OF SOCIETIES.
The annual- inspection of the Avonside Nursing Division of the SJ John Ambulance Brigade took place at the weekly meeting on Tliursdav ovonin". Assistant OommisBioner W. W. Supermtcident H. Thomas and Corps Sunenntondent P. Riohes were tho inspecting officers. Afterwards Dr. Jennings save an interesting lecture on "Unconsciousness, Insensibility, Fainting, Hysteria, etc.," for which he was accorded a hearty vote of thanks.
