—i —♦ .. ANNUAL MEETING. The • annual meeting of shareholders of the Hawarden Saleyards Company, Ltd., was held in tho company's hall on Thursday. Twelve shareholders were pres'ent, Mr W. Neevo being in the chair. The report stated that 34,961 sheep, thirty-eight cattle, twenty-six horses, twenty-eight pigs; and numerous sundries had passed through the yards during the past year. Tho balancesheet showed the receipts, including last year's credit balance of £205 8s 4d, to be £340 7s 2d, and the expenditure £lßl 4s sd, leaving a credit balance of £159 2s 9d. The report and balance-sheet were adopted.It was decided to pay a dividend of 7J per cent on all paid *ap capital, ana to place the current account. Messrs G. Rutherford, G. Gardner and J. Forrester were re-elected directors. Mr J. Feek was. appointed auditor. Mr W. Neeve was re-elected chairman for the coming' year. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded the general management of the yards and to all those who had in aDy way supported the company. . '
