RESPONSE STILL EXCELLENT.

At Sunday's intercession services, the prayers were backed by strong appeals to the young men of the Commonwealth to respond to the call of Empire duty. The response to the call for troops continues to be excellent, and, although there was no recruiting during the holidays, many presented themselves at th« barracks.
