SUPER-ZEPPELIN SMASHED.
ANOTHER AIR RAID. GENEVA, January 1
A dispatch from Fricdrichahavcn states that the- British and French airmen in a recent raid destroyed the latest German super-Zeppelin. Another of the same type escaped tho bombs by rising rapidly.
AIRCRAFT FOR FRANCE
TWO FLEETS BUILDING
LONDON, January 1. New York advices state that 1 rancei is building two fleets of aircraft armed with cannon, steel darts and bombs.
They are to invade Germany in the spring. It is stated that hundreds of biplanes and aeroplanes, capable of travelling 120; miles per hour, will bo sent from the frontier to deliver attacks in large divisions.
GERMANY'S PRISONERS. AMSTERDAM, January 1. A telegram from Berlin states that the war prisoners in Germany total 8138 officers, 677,875 men, including 492 British officers and 18,824 men.
CLEARING BELGIUM. LONDON, January 1
Rotterdam reports that the German administration in Belgium intends closing the borders against allcomers. Passports will not be recognised unless issued by tho military. This action is believed to be designed to prevent espionage.
