REPORTED HOARDING OF WHEAT. In connection with the shortage of flour and the reported holding of wheat by farmers, Mr H. G. Ell, M.P., has sent the following further telegram to the Prime Minister, Mr W. F. Massey:— In reply to your telegram, I hare no authority to demand the names and addresses of persons holding wheat, but you have both power ana authority to appoint an official to obtain the necessary information, and if you appoint someone I will render all 'the help I can to discover the people who are holding wheat for a rise in price at a time like this. Statements mad'e to me to-day leave little doubt that wheat is being hoarded.—* H. G. Ell.
