COMMANDER HEWLETT SAVED PICKED UP BY TRAWLER By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received January 1, 7.30 p.m.) LONDON, December 31. Flight-Commander Hewlett, who was reported missing after the British raid on Cuxhaven, was picked up by a trawler and’ landed at Ymuider.
(Received January 1, 10 p.m.) AMSTERDAM, January 1. A trawler picked up Commander Hewlett near Heligoland after six hours’ immersion. The trawler was unable to enter port owing to storms.
