The aviator Dimes has submitted plans for crossing the Atlantic to an Aerial Navigation Society. The machine he proposes to use will k'i be a triplano of four 200 li.p. engines, having a speed of 54 miles an hour. There will be three pilots, three mechanics, three naval officers and a commander on board. t .-The total weight will be nine thousand kilogrammes (between eight and nine tons). The shelter will be lowered in a trench and will become invisible when used in war time.
