On Saturday afternoon the New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Ruapehu complotod loading a cargo of frozen meat and dairy produce for London, and sailed for Wellington. She is due to leave the latter port this week. Having completed discharge of her transhipments, the Union Company’s Warrimoo sailed on Saturday for Wellington. From tho letter port she will proceod to Port Chalmers to lie up. The Federal and Shire Company’s liner Buteshire, an route to Now Zealand from Liverpool, sailed from Cape Town on February 14. She is due at Auckland about March 25 and Wellington ar.d Lyttelton early in April. Tho barque Northern Chief, recently purchased by tho Devonport Steam Forry Company, for use as a hulk, is now being dismantled. Amongst the latest steamers fixed to load frozen meat in New Zealand for West Coast of England ports is the Carpentaria, which has been shipping cargo in Australia for some time. The vessel was due to leave Melbourne on Friday for Wellington, and 13 due at the latter port on Wednesday next. Two days later she is duo to sail for Liverpool. On Saturday last the Federal and Shire Company’s liner Nairnshire left Sydney for Waitara, to commence loading on this coast. From tho latter port tho vessel will procoed to Gisborne, thence to Auckland, Lyttelton and Wellington. Final loading will bo carried out at tho latter port and tho vessel will leave for Home on March 21. Captain Wills will rejoin the Wakatu today as master, and Captain Bridgon will resume his old post as mate of tho Quoen of tho South. Messrs A. R. Mancer and F. Stafford, wireless operators on the Wahine and Manuka respectively, have exchanged positions. Mr J. Cooper has signed on the Aorangi as wireless operator. Mr H. Johnson is at present relieving Mr Watson as second engineer of the Manuka. Mr O. Duncan has joined the Arapawa as second engineer. Mr W. Whyte, second engineer of tho Karori. has joined the Tahiti as third. Mt C. M’Lean .has joined the Karori. The New Zealand Shipping Company s Tongariro, which left Wellington on January 6 for London, arrived at Teneriffe on February 19 and continued her voyage later. The Kaipara, which also left Wellington on January 18, arrived at Teneriffo on Wednesday last and oontinued her voyage to Avonmouth tho same day. Tho Now Zoaland Shipping Company has received cabled advico from its London office tljat the Whakatane arrived at Monte Video from Wellington on February 27.
