THE DUNEDIN CONFERENCE. [Per Press Association.] DUNEDIN, February 23. At tho Methodist Conferenco on Saturday morning tho personnel of the Stationing Committee was completed by 'the election of Mr Sparker t-o represent the South Auckland district. Tho Rev W. W. Avery was received on transfer from tho New South Wale* conference. Tho Rev James Wilson applied for and was granted a transfer to New South Wales. The Victorian and New South Wales conferences respectively applied for tho transfer of the Rovs J. W. Burton and A. 11. Scriven. Consideration of these matters was deferred. The following ministers were received for ordination: Revs A. Allen, W. Burlev, A. O. Harris, C. H. Olds, J. Richards, H. A. Sharp and A. Hopper. Mr Hopper was accepted for ordination because of his long service as a home missionary and as probationer minister for three years. The Rev J. H. Cable, a probationer of one year’s standing in South Australia, applied for admission. Mr Cable was received and was given status. The Rev Arthur Liversedge, who served in the United Methodist Church in England for.some years, was received as minister' in full connexion, on financial probation.
