THE SUEZ CANAL.
SCHEME OF IMPROVEMENTS. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright, LONDON, February 25.
The Suez Canal Company expect to complete improvements by 1918 giving the canal a greater depth than any port east of Suez except Sydney. The scheme provides for a depth of forty feet throughout, and a width of 196 feet.
