Dominion Meteorologist’s summary and forecast:—The barometer is lowest off the East Cape but has risen considerably elsewhere. The winds changed by west to south and south-east and became high and squally. A cool change has taken place, and rain has fallen in many parts: Present indications are for strong south-west to south-east winds, cool, changeable and showery weather, barometer rising and probably very high in n day or two.
