Car left Picton on MONDAY AFTERNOON at 1 P.M., and ran right through to DUNEDIN, • a total of 500 MILES, in the record time of 18 HOURS,; reaching its destination at 7 a.m. TUESDAY MORN- ■ • . / ING. - - ! i The average speed, including stoppages to fill up with Petrol, Oil, etc., crossing of j rivers, and also including 9 p hours driving in the dark, j works out at nearly 28 MILES PER HOUR, j • * i which is a phenomenal per- 1 , i formance.
