REQUISITION TO DR- THACKER

There is still much discussion in the city in regard to candidates [or the mayoralty. All parties interested in municipal affairs are beginning to consider the position and to look out for candidates who will represent their views.

Yesterday a deputation waited on Dr Thacker at his residence and asked him to he a candidate. The municipal position was discussed, and also reforms and enterprises in view.

Dr Thacker promised to carefully consider the request and to give a definite reply in a few days.
