SCHOOL DISTRICTS OF BROOMFIELD AND AMBERLBf. THE Education Board of the District of North Canterbury hereby , publicly notifies that, in pursuance ot tbe power conferred by the " Education Act, 1877,” it has resolved to Divide the School District of Amberley into two districts, to be called respectively the School Districts of Broomfield and Amberley- The division will take effect on the Ist January, 1882, from which date the boundaries ot these two districts will be as follows Boundaries ot the School District of Broomfield Commencing at the north-east corner of Rural Section 9528, thence westerly following the road north of that section to the road and Railway Reserve, thence south-westerly by a straight line to the northernmost corner of Section 26864, thonoe south-westerly following the road north-west thereof to the northwest oomer of Section 7875, thonoe southerly by a straight line to the southwest corner of Section 7618, thence easterly by the Baloairn School District to the Road and Railway Reserve, thence northerly by said reserve to the north branch ot the river Kowai, thence by tnat river to the road north-west of section 22881, thence north-easterly and northerly by that road to the road separating sections 9321 and 21096, thence north-easterly by the latter road to the road south-west of section 19017, thence south-easterly by said toad to its junction with the North road, and from thence returning northerly along that road to the commencing point. Boundaries of the School District of Amberley —Bounded on the eastward by the river Waipara and the sea, southward by the Leitbfleld School District, westward by the Broomfield School District (as hereinbefore defined), and northward by the road running through section 4053.
