Educational. THIS EDUCATION BOARD OF THE DISTRICT OF NORTH CANTERBURY. SCHOOL DISTRICTS OF SOUTH MALVERN AND GLENTUNNEL. THE Education Board of the District of North Canterbury hereby publicly notifies that, is pursuance of tha power conferred by the " Education Act. 1877,'* it nas rwolved to divide tho school district of Sooth Malvern Into two district*, to bo called, respectively, the school dlatricta of South a and OJoatuonel. This division will take Malvern effect on tbe Ist January, 1883, from which date the boundaries of those two districts will be as follows: , „ . Boundaries of tbe School District of Sooth Malvern.—Commencing at tho south-west corner of rural sectionl4o7l j thenoo southeasterly in a straight line to tbe south west corner of section 12718 j thence again south-easterly in a direct tine to the southcut corner of section 15151 ; thence northeasterly by a straight Una to the southernmolt corner of Motion 86977: thenoo southerly by a straight lino to the north-west corner of section 11395, following tho western boundary of that section to tho south-west corner thereof i thence southeasterly, following the south-western boundaries of sections 11395 and 11938 to the north-west comer of section 1i671 1 thenoo south-easterly along tho south-west boundary of tho latter section to tbe easternmost corner of section 14670; thence southwesterly, following the north • western boundaries or Motions 10631, 16980. 16839, 16828.16337.16336,16925.14832.16734,14333, 16689, and 8717 to tho south-western corner of the latter section: thenoo couthwesterly by a straight line to the southeast comer of section 16351 1 thenoo northeasterly by a straight line to the westernmost corner of section 25454: thenoo again north-easterly by a straight line to the north-west corner of section 83057 ; and from thence returning northerly by a straight line to the oonunenotng point. The Board hereby calls public meetings of the householders in tbe above-mentioned districts, to be held en Monday, the twenty-third day of January, 1883, at seven o'clock in the evening, for tbe porpoae of electing Committees for snob dieUriels for tbe year ending upon the fourth Monday of January, 1833.
