TO ins EDITOB. Bxk,—l8 xk, —l believe it has been mooted more than once whether sparrows build their neat* on the ground or not. To-day I had conclusive proof that they do, as I found three neats while cutting ryegrass for hay. One contained young sparrows, while the other two contained eggs.
