DRAINAGE BOARD.
NOMINATION OP MEMBERS. The following nominations for the new Drainage Board were made yesterday : Christchurch, K.W. Sub-district—Mr J. S. Parker 3.S.—J. A. Bird and W. H. Pilliet S.W.—W. Vincent and J. A. Bird N.E, —No nomination Sydenham —W. White, junior. Heath cote —F. Jones. 'Avon W. F. Hubbard. Spreydon—Ko nomination. Bieoarton—L. Harper. A protest was lodged against Mr Park«r*s nomination, on the ground of informality. It is cot unlikely that protests may be lodged with respect to the B.JE. and S.W. subdistricts, oa the score of non-payment of the drainage rate in due lime.
