Kitmwsiow or Liqsma— Mr Clement applied for an extension of license to Thomas Richmond, Melville Hotel, Timoro. for a booth at the Caledonian Sports at Waimate on Boxing Day. Sergeant Ramsay opposed the application, on the ground that Richmond had misconducted himself as the bolder of a license at the Mokikihi races. The Chairman said the application would bo dealt with in Timaru.
