The Buhdearatb, or Federal Council, consisting of seven members, in whom is lodged the chief executive authority in Switzerland, and which is elected for three years by the Federal Assembly, has just been chosen. The late members of the Council have been re-elected. Some sensation has been caused in London by the mysterious disappearance of Viscount Boyle, tho eldest eon of the Earl of Shannon.
