THE INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION.
A meeting of the New Zealand Sepresentaturn Committee, in connection with the forthcoming International Exhibition, was held Jesteroay, at tho offices of Mr J. P, ameson. The names of Messrs J. A. Bird, 8. Manning, William Moor and F. Trent were added to the Committee. After a conversational discussion, Messrs J. P. Jameson, Bobort Allan, Smith and Hull were requested to prepare a classification of New Zealand products and manufactures, and to suggest sub-committees to attend to the various Sit was also decided to convene a meeting, so soon a* tho report was Mitchell exhibited plans of the building, as received from Messrs Joubert and Twopenny. The drawings indicated that the ground plan would have some resemblance to a Maltese oroes, ae shown by the following rough diagram i
The space occupied by thie building would be 600 by 600 feet. The avenuee are of a uniform width of 45 feet, and at eachinteraction-*. indicated by the circles in the diagram— l# an enlarged space, with a domed roefrismg well above the general structure. In the central opening will be placed the band rotunda, and eachof the other circular spaces will be occupied by a fountain.
