THACKER v. CAMERON.

To the Editor of the Lyttelton Times,

g IB< _In jour report of the 14th inst., in the case Thacker v Cameron, you have unwittingly made an error. In that report you state I dishonored drafts on me; such a statement would lead to infer that I was unable to meet my engagements. Tiie case, was simply this, Mr. Thacker sent some of his sawyers with an order on me for money on account, which order I repudiated, stating at the time I would not pay any cash until I received the timber ordered. '•*-. PETER CATwERON.
