Local Intelligence.

Lyttelton Paeish.—A meeting of the parishioners of Lyttelton was held in the Temporary Church, on Saturday, and an adjourned meeting on Tuesday, yesterday, for the purpose of electing churchwardens and vestrymen for the parish, under the regulations lately laid down by the General and Diocesan Synods. The various offices fell upon the following members of the congregation. The churchwarden appointed by the Incumbent was Mr. J. Martin Hey wood, and Dr. Donald was elected by the parishioners. The vestrymen (six in number), were Messrs. Bayfeild, Ward, McKellar, Gee, Gundry,arid Beeby.
