ALPORT has received instructions from Miss Skillicorn, to sell by public auction, at her Store, Colombo Street, Christchurch, ON MONDAY & TUESDAY, the 9th and 10th January next, the following large and valuable assortment of goods, viz.:— Ladies' summer and other dresses in the piece, comprising bareges, muslins,muslin delaines, prints, French merinoes, &c. Ladies' and children's ready made dresses and under clothing, in great variety. * , Ladies' striped tweed petticoats, knitted jackets, mantles, &c. Children's woollen and cotton socks, cloth gaiters, infants' monthly gowns. Gentlemen's white and regatta shirts, woollen and cotton socks, travelling gaiters, Paisley and woollen travelling shawls".
