THE above township has been surveyed and laid off in quarter-acre sections, and is now open for sale, at an upset price uniform with the Government townships. All lots applied for will be submitted monthly to public auction.A vessel is now employed as a regular trader to Lyttelton; a jetty and warehouse are already constructed ; and this port will command the shipment of all the wool from the northern district. It also affords facilities for the carrying on of a considerable tvade in the transport of building stone and lime to Christchurch and Lyttelton, as well as for the import of stores and building materials for the proposed Government township at the head of the navigation.
