Lord Raglan was got by the celebrated horse, Prince Royal, one of the best, prize stack getters in Scotland, out of a pure Clydesdale mare belonging to Mr. Woodrow. Dam was by Muircock, who, whea two years old, took Three First Prizes, at Shows open to all Scotland. Muircock was by Glancer, and he comes from the most celebrated stock in Renfrew-' shire. ' CART STALLION, "W ON D E R." | The Wonder was got by Mr. Brown's the Farmer's Glory, his dam, a bay mare of G. Wagner, Esq;, was allowed by the judges to be one of the finest mares in England. Farmer's Glory was by England's Glory, who took the First Prize at the Royal Agricultural meeting at Windsor. CART STALLION, "HE R 0," Hero was got by Merryinan, dam by Scarborough, grandam by Bucephalus, by Rotsey's Volunteer, Volunteer dam by Mr. Percy's old horse Kinburn, who got more prizes than any horse in England. Merryman was got by Black Active, dam by old Truth, grandam by old Jacob by Roper's old nag. Black Active was got by that noted horse Little John, the property of Mr.- William Johnson, of Preston. Old Truth was got by old Symetry, Symetry by old Active by Sawder's old nag. Hero is an excellent brown, rising 8 years old, stands 16 hands high, with great power and superior action, and is a sure foal getter, and allowed to be by. the judges one of the finest Stallions travelling to suit all purposes. This Heifer took the first prize at the Banff Caftle Show in February last, and her dam took five first prizes at different Scotch Shows.
