WHEREAS GEORGE EDWARD MASON and RICHARD MASON, of Birehdale and Mount Mason, in the Province o Canterbury, and Colony of New Zealand Sheep-farmers and Stoclcownors, did, by dcet bearing date the Ist day of SEPTEMBEI instant, made between the said George Edwart Mason and Richard Mason of the one part, Williarc Newton Millfcon, of View Hill Station, ■Stookowher William Cockerell Beswick, of Kaiapoi, Merchant and Edward Allen Hargreaves, of Lyttelton, Merchant, of the second part; and the severalother persons, parties thereto, whose names and seals Vert thereunto subscribed and set, creditors of the saic George Edward Mason and Richard Mason,.ant such other of their creditors who shall come in anc execute the said deed within two months from th\ date thereof, of the third part; assign and transfei all their several sheep and cattle runs and stations in the said Province of Canterbury, as well as those in the Province of Nelson, and adjoining 01 near to each other, viz.:—ln the Province oi Canterbury, the Virginia Run, consisting of 16,00 C acres; the Lake Run, 12,500 acres; the Seawarc' Country Run, 2,500 acres: In the Province oJ Nelson, the Hufunui Run, on the North Bank "ol the Hurunui, 5,000 acres ;, and the Island Run, on ! the Island; on the Wai-au-ua, 2,000 acres:-—Also j 4,500 sheep and the increase thereof, with all then interest in 1,000 other sheep; and the bullocks cows, horses, and rams now being and grazin<> upon the aforesaid sheep and cattle runs :—Alsa the-several drays, yokes, &c, with the huts, stock^ yards, dipping apparatus, on or belonging to the Virginia Run, and all other their personal property, estate, and effects whatsoever:—Unto the said William Newton Million, William Cockerell Beswick, and Edward Allen Hargreaves, UPON TRUST, for sale by public auction or private contract, in one or several lots, for the benefit of such of the creditors of the said George Edward Mason and Richard Mason who shall execute the said deed at any time within two months from the date thereof. And the said George Edward Mason and Richard Mason did, m and by the said deed, covenant to convey and assure unt 3 the said trustees, upon and for the trusts therein expressed, or as they the said trustees should direct and require, 80 acres of freehold land, m two 40 acre sections/with all improvements thereon, respectively situate, at the Birchdale and Virginia Runs; which said deed was duly executed (m duplicate) by the said George Edward Mason s#r nt M?, SOn ' William Newton Million, William Cockerell Beswick, and Edward Allen Hargijeaves, in the presence of and attested by Richard Wormald,.of Lyttelton, Solicitor, and John Hare, hisderk^on the Ninth Day of September instant!
