G. B. & R. MASON'S ASSIGNMENT. WHEREAS GEORGE EDWARD MASON and RICHARD MASON, of Birchdale, and Mount Mason, in the Province of Canterbury, and Colony of New Zealand, Sheep-fanners and Stoekowners, did, by deed bearing date the Ist day of SEPTEMBER instant, made between, the said George Edward Mason and Richard Mason of the one part, William Newton Millton, of View Hill Station, Stockowner, William'Cockercll Beswick, of Kaiapoi, Merchant, and Edward Allen Hargreaves, of Lyttelton, Merchant, of the second part; and the several other persons, parties thereto, whose names and seals were thereunto subscribed and set, creditors of the said George Edward Mason and Richard Mason, and such other of their creditors who shall come in and execute the said deed within two months from the date thereof, of the third part; assign and transfer all their several sheep and cattle runs and stations in the said Province of Canterbury, as well as those in the Province of Nelson, and adjoining or near to each other, viz.:—ln the Province of Canterbury, the Virginia Run, consisting of 16,000 acres; the Lake Run, 12,500 acres; the Seaward Country Run, 2,500 acres: In-the Province of Nelson, the Hurunui Run, on the North Bank of the Hurunui, 5,000 acres; and the Island Run, on the Island, on the Wai-au-ua, 2,000 acres: —Also, ■4,500 sheep and the increase thereof, with all their interest in 1,000 other sheep; and the bullocks, cows, horses, and rams now being and grazing upon the aforesaid sheep and cattle runs : —Also, the several-drays, yokes, &c, with the huts, stock-; yards, dipping apparatus, on or belonging to the Virginia Run, and all other their personal property, estate, and effects whatsoever: —Unto the said William Newton Millton, William Cockerell Beswick, and.Edward Allen Hargreaves, UPON TRUST, for sale by public auction or private contract, in one or several lots, for the benefit of such of the creditors of the said George Edward Mason and Richard Mason who shall execute the said deed at any time within two months from the date thereof. And the said George Edward Mason and Richard Mason did, in and by the said deed, covenant to convey and assure unt3 the said trustees, upon and for the trusts therein expressed, or as they the said trustees should direct and require, 80 acres of freehold land, in two 40 acre sections, with all improvements thereon, respectively- situate at the Birchdale and, Virginia Runs; which said deed was duly executed (in duplicate) by the said George Edward Mason and Richard Mason, William Newton Millton, William Cockerell Beswick, and Edward Allen Hargreaves, in the presence of and attested by Richard Wormald, of Lyttelton, Solicitor, and John Hare, his clerk, on the Ninth Day of September instant. Notice is therefore hereby given, that the said deed of assignment now lies at my office for the inspection and execution of the creditors of the said George Edward Mason and Richard Mason ; and such of them as shall neglect or refuse to execute the same within the time aforesaid will be excluded from all benefit arising therefrom. A. Hargreaves, of Lyttelton, Merchant, for and onibehalf of their creditors. And all persons who have any claims or demands against .the estate and •efftets of the said George Edward and Richard Mason, aro requested to send the particulars thereof to the said E. A. WHEREAS John Townshend Parkinson, of the Christchurch District, in the Province of Canterbury in New Zealand, Commission Agent, did, by deed bearing date the twentyfourth day of September instant^ made between the -said John Townshend Parkinson of the first part, William Thomson, of Christchurch, in the said province, Accountant, and John Campbell Ailnnan, of the sajd Christchurch District, Merchant, of the second part, and several other persons creditors of ! the said_ John Townshend Parkinson of the third part, assign all his leasehold and personal estate and effects unto the said William Thomson and John Campbell Aikinan, upon trust, for sale by public auction or private contract, in one or more lot or lots, for the benefit of such of the creditors of the said John Townshend Parkinson who should execute the said deed within two months from the date thereof; which said deed was duly executed by the said John Townshend Parkinson and William Thomson, in the presence of Charles Allison, of Christchurch, Builder, and Edward French Buttemer Harston, of Christchurch, Solicitor, and by the said John Campbell Aikrnan, in. the presence of James Murray Young, of Lytteltori, Mariner, and Thomas Irvine, of Lyttelton, Mariner, on the day of the date thereof. • ■ ' > Notice is hereby given that the said deed of assignment now lies at my ofßce, in Christchurch, for the inspection and execution of the creditors of'the said John Townshend Parkinson; and such of them as shall neglect to execute the same within the time aforesaid, will be excluded from all benefits arising therefrom.
