Any Member wishing to join the Class can do so this Evening. ' E. MILLS, ; - * Hbh. Sec. The following are the rules as adopted by the Committee of the Colonists' Society on the 21st March: — Ist. That the Discussion Class be re-opened for discussing such subjects as may be from time to time proposed; provided subjects of local controversy, or such as would be likely to involve angry political, or religious feelings, be avoided. ' 2nd. That the sum of one shilling per quarter be paid in advance to constitute membership, but all subscribers to the class must be members of the Colonists' Society. 3rd. That a meeting for discussion take place on the second and fourth Wednesday in each month, at 7 o'clock ; but subjects for discussion will be required to be submitted to the committee before the close of the last meeting in each month. All meetings to. end at 9 o'clock p.m. 4th. Each member to be allowed ten minutes to address the meeting upon the subject under discussion. sth. A Committee of Management, consisting of five, to be chosen from the members annually, from whom a Chairman and Secretary to be appointed by such committee. . . >f . 6fch.
