It A N G 10 11 A. ELIGIBLE BUILDIN G S I T E S IN THE CENTRE OF THE TOWNSHIP. TO BE LET, ON DESIRABLE LEASES. THAT WELL KNOWN FIFTY-ACRE SECTION, 226, WITH A FRONTAGE OF TWELVE AND A-HAI.F , CHAINS TO THE HAREWOOD ROAD, AND FORTY TO THE CHRISTCHURCH AND KAIAPOI DIRECT ROAD, WILL SHORTLY BE OFFERED AS ABOVE, ACCORDING TO A PLAN NOW IN THE COURSE OF PREPARATION, AND WHICH WILL BE SUBMITTED FOR INSPECTION AT THE PRINCIPAL HOTELS THROUGHOUT THE PROVINCE. OF Rangiorabut little need be said. The progressive and unparalleled advance which this promising quarter has made within the last three years will be the best guarantee for the share of popular opinion it enjoys, an opinion which the Land Office receipts can prove to be weekly growing with its growth, and which without any greater stretch of prophetic vision than such a precedent would justify, will rank it before four years as the second town in importance and population within the province. Rangiora is seventeen tniles from Christchurch, and five from Kaiapoi by the Direct Road, and is on the main line to Oxford, a district now in much request; is blessed with an abundance of wood and water; is in the centre of a largd area of farming and grazing acreage, and from its commanding position, cannot help becoming the consigning and. produce-transmitting Emporium of a large proportion of our wool and general commerce, as well as, on the establishment of the- Railroad, principally supplying Christchurch and the intervening stations with meat in carcases. There will be a reserve for an Hotel at the junction of the Harewood Road, as likewise Sale Stockyards and a General Market House. N.B.—lt is as well to observe that the cost of Building Material and Firewood at Rangiora is fully one-third under Christchurch and Port prices. For further particulars, Enquire personally of W, H.
