NOTICE TO SUBSCRIBERS.
In consequence of the alteration made in the postal arrangements for the transmission of newspapers, the extra scale lately advertised as about to be charged to country subscribers to the 'Lyttelton Times'
HAS BEEN ABANDONED, and the scale always hitherto in force will be adhered to. See advertisement.
Subscribers are.reminded that with the new year a new period of subscription has commenced. Arrears must be paid up without delay ; and subscribers wishing to take advantage of the rates for payment in advance must forward the amount at once to this office or to any of the advertised
agents.
