The following private telegrams have been received:—
Madrid, October 21.—1t appears decided that General Prim Will command the expedition against the Moors of the Riff.
-Barcelona, October 20.—M-. do Lesseps has bean most warmly received here. A grand dinner is to !be given him in the evening. ; ; The Madrid journals of the 17th contain little news. A royal decree accepts the resignation, from ill health, of General Cordova, as member of the Consulting Junta of War. The Progressista electors of Madrid had begun to choose the candidates !in the respective districts. M. Olozaga is one of them, and some intention was entertained of making' ■Marshal Espartero another/ The Espana had been again seized^ A small Carlist band of three or four [men, ■■ headed. by a noted' chief named Bordas, had in the neighbourhood of Angles,: near Giroha; a detaohment of the Civil Guard overtook and fised a Volley at if,; but none of the insurgents were hit, and all escaped. * .
