AN ELECTION of TWO SCHOLARS will take place on FRIDAY, the 25th March, 1859. The first scholarship, value £48 per annum, is tenable for four years; the second £40 per annum, for three, years, to be raised to £60 and £50 per annum respectively, if the scholar shall pass a satisfactory examination at the end of each year. All members ot the United Church of England and Ireland, or of any church iv communion therewith, who shall have attained there fifteenth, and not exceeded their eighteenth year, are eligible; preference, however, to be given, eaateris parib'us, to the kindred of Maria Somes, or of her late husband, Joseph Somes. ; Candidates must apply not later than SATURDAY, the 19th March, by letter addressed to the Warden and Fellows, accompanied by certificates ot* a"-c and good moral character; and in the case of candidates claiming flic privilege of Founder's kin, by satisfactory proof of consanguinity.
