In consequence of the alteration made in the postal arrangements for the transmission of newspapers, the extra scale lately, advertised as about to be charged to country subscribers to the ' Lyttelton Times'
HAS BEEN ABANDONED, • and the scale always hitherto in force will be adhered to. See advertisement.
Subscribers are reminded that with the new year a new period of subscription has commenced.
Arrears must be paid up without' delay ; and subscribers wishing to take advantage of the rates for payment in advance must forward the amount ,*t once to this office or to any of- the 'advertised agents.
