THE NEW ZEALAND ALMANAC. IN consequence of numerous expressions of disappointment and regret at the non-publication of the above work for the cur- , rent year which hav^ repeatedly como to the notice of the Proprietors of tho " Lyttelton Times," thoy havo determined upon resuming its publication, in order to - meet "the requirements of the colony. ALMANAC FOR 1859 will contain, besides a carefully constructed EPHEMERIS and CALENDAR, a complete OFFICIAL DIRECTORY ft r the ISLANDS a Compendium of COLONIAL STATISTICS* a COASTING DIRECTORY according to tho latest authorities, Political, Ecclesiastical, A<n> cultural, and Mercantile Information, and'a huVo amount of other matter, interesting and useful to all classes in the colony.
