Markets.
Mr. Alport's three days' extensive Sale of Merchandise, ex Dart, imported by J. Davis and Co., terminated yesterday. The great variety of goods offered, and the character which previous importations had established, attracted to tins sale a large number of purchasers, and caused all lots to-go .off freely. It would be impossible to detail the prices obtained, but they were such as to satisfy all parties, every article not passed off at auction meeting a ready sale at full rates privately. These remarks apply equally to Groceries, Liquids, Oilman's Stores, Draperies, Boots and Shoes, and all other classes of goods specified in the announcement of the Sale.
