Chvistchurch, October*2B, 1858. PRELIMINARY NOTICE. IMPORTANT SALE OF TWO-TOOTH RAMS. MR. J. T. PARKINSON begs to call the attention of Flock-masters to HIS FIRST RAM SALE, which he will hold on MONDAY, Nov. 29th, in Mr. Rowley's 'paddocks, at Middleton, near Riccarton ; having been favoured with instructions to sell 100 Rams, by Mr. Ritchie's pure bred Merino Rams, out of the best of Mr. Rowley's original Ravensworth ewes. The rams are the first lot imported by Mr. Ritchie, purchased by G. P. Leach, Esq., for £12 per head, and hired out to Mr. Rowley at £6 per head. Mr. Rowley's ewes are too well known to need comment, being acknowledged by competent judges to be equal to any in the colony, or imported from Australia. Every facility will be given to purchasers for judging the respective qualities of the rams. They will be classed, and put into separate pens, by 11 o'clock on the day of sale, and shearing them will commence at noon precisely; the sale to commence on the completion thereof. Terms at Sale.
