T|IHE Provincial Government invite -~- Designs for Building- a Bridge over the _ River Waimakariri, seven miles from Christchurch. Each 'Design must be accompanied by a ■detailed estimate of the cost of construction, •which imist not exceed twelve thousand pounds. Fifty pounds will be paid for -the best,.and .twenty-five pounds for the second best design. The designs to become the property of the ..'Provincial Govemmeut. The whole of the designs received will be .submitted to Colonel Mould, Consulting Engineer ,to the Colony, by whose. Judgment the Provincial Government will be guided in.their award.
