ITALY.
Tn this part of the European Continent, where the hot ashes of revolution arc still smouldering, the two matters that continue; to excite intoru.se are, the dispute about the Cajjliari, ami the Sur-
dinian Conspiracy Bill. Lord Malmesbury^ act--ing on theopinion of the law officers of England, has despatched a missive to the Neapolitan Government, demanding compensation for these deeply injured men. The indemnity is .£4OOO. .The King, it is said, evinces a disposition to -negotiate. -The 'Spectator' of the 15th May says, "A telegraphic despatch received at Turin, announces a despatch from Count Cavour, received on •the 4th, in which lie declares that Sardinia accepts the propositions of Lord.Malmesbury. A reconciliation is no longer doubtful."
