SARDINIA.
In the Chamber of Deputies of Sardinia, M. Crotti requested the President of the Council to fix: a day for a question he wished to put respecting a strange pamphlet published in England by Mazzini, on the policy of the Piedmontese 'Cabinet. Count Cavour, in reply, expressed his astonishment 'that a deputy should want to question the Cabinet about a'pamphlet by Mazzini, and declared that he would not reply to -any such question." "I am ready," he added, "to give the fullest explanations as to the Conspiracy Bill, and any question M. Crotti may wish to put in his own name on the matter shall" receive an answer; but if he intends to call attention to the attacks against the Sardinian Government M, Mazzini has thought proper to make, my own reply will be a contemptous silence." This declaration was received Avith loud and prolonged cheering from the Chamber and the galleries.
