PEACOCK. PUBLIC CONCERT, CHRISTCHURCH. .;.,... MRS. BEECHEY arid MR. and MRS. JEFFREYS propose giving a CONCERT, in the Town Hall, Christchurch, on WEDNESDAY, the 4th August. The services of the German band have been engaged for the occasion. Mr. Bilton will preside at the piano. Concert to commence at 8 o'clock. CHRIST'S COLLEGE GRAMMAR SCHOOL. THE re-opening of the school is. deferred for one week, on account of the enlargement of the school room. The ' school will therefore reassemble on MONDAY, the 2nd of August, at 9 a.m. The course of instruction will henceforth-in-clude the teaching of singing, and, in consideration of the additional expense incurred on this account, the school fee will be raised to ten o-uineas per annum. ° P HENRY JACOBS, Sub-Warden.
