Id.; ale, per hhd., Salt's £9, do., barrels, £6. Thikd and Fourth Days: Pickles, good brands, per quart, 13s. 6d., per pint, 75.; currants, per lb., 9*d.; arrowroot, Is. Bd.; sago, 7£d. ; also, a large quantity of saddlery, oilmen's stores, ship chandlery, boots and shoes, hardware, soft goods, which realized an average of 50 per cent, on English invoices. Money Market, London, April 24.—The rejection by Naples of the demands of Sardinia in the case of the Cagliari caused the funds to open this morning at a decline of a quarter per cent., -with an unsettled appearance, but there was ultimately a return to the closing prices of yesterday. Consols for money were first quoted 96-j to f, and they left off at 96$ to 97 for the 6th May. A slight improvement on the Paris Bourse tended to assist the market, but the quantity of capital seeking employment, owing to the unprecedented stagnation in most departments of general business, is still the main cause of the disposition to steadiness. Bank Stock closed at 220 to 222; Reduced and New Three per Cents., 95f to |; India Stock, 220 to 223; India Bonds, 17s. to 215.; and Exchequer-bills, March, 355. to 38s.'; June, 345.'t0,375. premium. The India Loan was firm at 99| to 100.—Times.
