THE undersigned begs to intimate the daily expected arrival overland from Nelson, ex Malay, of 65 of the most valuable horses, and mares ever imported to this colony; being selected purposely for this market, by Gilbert McClymont, Esq., the importer,; whose judgment is so well appreciated in New Zealand. Amongst them will be found a -chesnut mare, ' No. 2,' got by Roberts' ' Sir Charles,' by imported horse ' Gratis,' out of ' Fairy Queen,' by Eater's imported horse' Tross,' out of a Whisker mare; 'Sir Charles,' winner of several races, beating Old Jorroek in his best days. ' No. 2,' in foal, to imported horse ' William Tell/ ' Bella/ by ' Benelong,' out of ' Viscountess,' by 'Baron,' out of a 'Cape mare,' in foal to 'Chatterbox.' .'.- Beresford, by ' Sweet William, in foal to 'Chatterbox.' 'Fancy,' by imported horse 'Emigrant.' ' Brunette,' bred by Mr. Rowe, and entered for. the Liverpool Triennial Stakes. ' Young Fairy,' ' Lady Rowena,' ' Madcap,' and • Nora Crina,' all of which are in foal to the imported horse .•■William Tell.' Also, several splendid colts, selected for strength and high breeding. A number of strong draught horses and mares, and broken in saddle horses and mares. Pedigree of ' William Tell' and' Chatterbox,' the two best bred horses in Australia, will be inserted in future advertisements, in the meantime, vide stud book.
