TtiE IJELSON APPEAL.
The ancient pilgrim on his way Took neither purse nor scrip, they say, Nor gold nor other coin, to pay The proper charges of the trip. This precept Nelson half obeys— Has gold, but yet no charges pays ;— And kindly to her neighbours says:— "We'll share and share alike always;— I keep my purse, take you my scrip."
