IN compliance with a resolution passed at a vestry meeting held in the Parish Church of Kaiapoi, on MONDAY, May 10th, we beg to request that the, parishioners will forward to us, before the 15th day of June, statements of the amounts which they severally propose contributing towards the maintenance , of a resident Clergyman in the district; it being impossible that any steps can be taken towards the attainment of so desirable an object, until the probable amount of the subscriptions is ascertained.
