WHEELER ■& NURSE omnibus proprietors, in returning thanks to the public of Canterbury for the liberal support and patronage they, have received for the last four years, and having considered the inconvenience travellers have experienced from want of a covered conveyance, beg to inform their patrons that they have just received, per ship Hastings, an omnibus, from one of the first makers in. London, which they '> intend running between Lyttelton and Christchurch, as soon as the cuttings and alterations at the foot of the bridle path, necessary for enabling the omnibus to turn, are completed. The omnibus will start at the same hours as \ the cart has been accustomed to leave Lyttelton 1 and Christchurch, viz., from the Golden 3?lgeee, j Christchurch, conveying the mails, at If&iin., ! returning from the cottage at the foot of the j bridle path at 10 hfs. 45 mm. a.m., starting I again from Christchurch at 3 p.m., and* return- j ing from the cottage with the inland mail, at 4 j p.m., in connection with the pack-horse which j leaves Lyttelton morning and Afternoon in time i to meet the omnibus.
