The. timber to be cleared in seven years, or a further term will be allowed on payment of a moderate rental. A portion of the purchase money to be paid down. 20 per cent of the remainder at the end of -j the Ist year. 40 per cent of the remainder at the end of 2nd year. 40 per cent of the remainder, at the end of the 3rd year, bearing interest at the usual rate. The above offers a remunerative investment to .a person of moderate capital, there being a constant demand for timber both in Lyttelton and Christchurch.
