As in none but official documents-the former name was ever used, one of the numerous 'Victorias' is thus blotted off the map to the great advantage of all - concerned. By the same authority Ahuriri port: is named Napier, and West Whaingaroa (wherever that is) is denominated Raglan. , On the 19th March we find that 'the New. Zealand Native Reserves Act, 1856,' has been , left to its operation by her Majesty; and then t follows an important announcement:— Tlie following act passed by the General Assembly of New Zealand, in the session held in' the nineteenth and twentieth years of her Majesty Queen Victoria, intituled, 'The Wastei Lands Act, 1856,' having been laid before the Queen, in conformity with the provisions of the ■ New Zealand Constitution Act,:it has been in- .
